I think my provider is playing games

Actually, Bob, I like your idea. The
only problem is that the spammers
might adapt is also. But, I don't think
that they'd bother to actually read the
group and figure out what is happening.
BTW, I implemented the rules
in Thunderbird that were posted last
week. They do help ... but some
spam still slips through. So, I've
added more rules to catch them. In trying
to filter out all the spam, I find
myself more interested in the quest to
totally eliminate the spam than to read
the content of the group .... and
that ain't good.
