The man says the compressor rings are shot and says it's not worth
fixing it. My Frigidaire top freezer is only eight years old and it's
almost dead already. He took temperatures of the freezer compartment
and got 28* at the back of the freezer. He said the compressor was
very hot and was running long cycles.
Should I believe his analysis that it isn't worth fixing? He wants me
to get prices elsewhere and they will beat them.
What brand should I consider?
