Sorry John, but I don't even know the title of your intial post to go take
to one of the search engines and spend 30 mins or so trying to find it.
Frankly, I don't have the time either but am willing to try to help.
Plumming is *not* my expertise area though.

Mine don't have any male/female adaptors with grooves other than 'screw on'
sorts.
