We just had new vinyl IG pool liner put in. The old one had really
faded bad on the side that faces the sun, the part above the water
Would using Armour-All or something on it every now and then help stop
or slow that?

UV light bleaches. Any coating that blocks UV would help, but be careful
about what else it might do.

NO! That will go into the water an dwhen it gets to your filter, it will
quickly plug it up. About all you can really do is shade it somehow. I
used a changing room to shade the south side of ours. Or, you could replace
hte liner more often<g> but if you're like me, if it ain't broke, I don't
fix it any more than normal PM reqs.
