Old Maytag clothes washer: Water backed up & ran the tub over, now it
won't spin.
It acts like a piece of clothing overflowed into the outer tub.
It does pump out but never reverse spins.
Now, it doesn't even seem to kick into reverse spin mode, it acts like
the brake is on.
It will later begin to squeal & the belts smell.
The bolts are rusted so can't get the cover portion off the tub & I
cannot pull the agitator either!
