I have a Ceiling fan with a remote switch that does not function
properly. With the chain on the fan turned off - The remote does
nothing. With the Fan chain turned on high - The speed controls works
but the fan does not turn off with the remote. With the fan turned on
medium setting the speed control changes speed and the on off changes
speed. With the fan chain on low - same thing as the medium setting.
Any ideas?

William

Who installed the fan? Is the control original or an after thought? Do
you have the instructions for both the fan and the remote?
