very odd case....woke up this morning to the sound of a loud POP
coming from the bathroom. went in and found a glass wall of the shower
stall had, somehow, shattered, almost like someone had thrown a
baseball against it.

need to replace it, of course. any tricks or hints? how to measure?
metal frame is held together by phillips screws so will take that
apart. any sources for getting a piece of safety glass? i live in the
dallas area....

thanks all.

You should have let that prostitute out of the shower. Just because
your wife came home during your shower with that prostitute dont mean
you had to lock her in the shower. You could have taken the wife out
to a bar or something so the whore could leave the house. Now you got
a broken shower and a pissed off whore to boot. Worse yet, she might
be bleeding to death somewhere on the streets and its your fault.

You found a KEEPER. Dont let her go. Lock her in a closet with all
steel doors.

they're tempered. any stress at all, including some that may have been
built-in during manufacturing or even a wall settling and tweaking the pane,
can make it pop like that.

you should call someone from your yellow pages. they'll come out, measure
it, get the glass tempered, and install it. if they screw it up, it's their
dime. if you do it and are off in the least, tempered glass can't be recut.
