yes - the kids here had mentioned it and were aware of it, but
rejected it out of hand as too expensive for them. Thanks.
Maybe we may try the masonite with an epoxy covering on it. The
purpose behind the masonite is to provide a smooth covering over the
rough plywood, so maybe it would work. I'll have to look into it and
the price.....
