I've got the lower R-value insulation (yellow) in attic... want to put
higher R-value insulation down. Can i just lay it on top of the lower
R value stufff... or is it better to have the higher R-value insul.
beneath the lower ;)

kind of a dumb question but figured the experts out there will have an
opinion

No it does not matter. Just lay it on top.
